At the regular Millbrook City Council meeting Tuesday morning, the council unanimously approved financial distributions to multiple area agencies and organizations.
These distributions are factored into the yearly budget and are generally recurring. The purpose is to promote economic development and help with community agencies and

Alabama Cooperative Extension System $2,500.
Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center $2,500.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers $2,500
Elmore County Economic Development Authority $12,500
Family Sunshine Center $2,000.
Humane Society of Elmore County $21,000.
Montgomery Area Mental Health Authority $2,000.
American Red Cross $3,500.
RSVP $4,000
Welcome Center $2,500
Grandview YMCA $10,000.
Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce $60,000.
Communities Improvement Association (CIA) $2,000
Community Action Partnership $1,500
Wreaths Across America $1,000.
