Clear Horizons Recovery Clinic celebrated its ribbon-cutting on Friday, January 9, 2026, alongside the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce, city, and state officials. Mayor Jerry Willis cut the ribbon and stated, “This facility is very important to the City of Wetumpka. We are so happy to see the investment that is being made to run a program such as this here in Elmore County.”
Clear Horizons Recovery Clinic’s mission is to empower recovery through evidence-based care. They are dedicated to restoring lives and guiding individuals toward a healthier future. They take a holistic approach to recovery, offering Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and evidence-based practices to address both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction.
John Alridge, CRNP, shared his appreciation for turnout and stated, “I am excited to be around this area and to serve the Wetumpka and Elmore County community. The problems are real here, just like in most rural areas, drugs and alcohol run rampant. We have a recovery counselor as well. An addiction counselor is working closely with us, and we are trying to make sure that they have the resources that they need to be successful. We are going to try to make sure that this is not a long-term thing. We want to make sure that we have an exit strategy for people who are actually able to get off of this medication, as well as the drugs and alcohol.”
Specializing in outpatient recovery and rehabilitation, Clear Horizons Recovery Clinic emphasizes continuity of care and individualized treatment plans. Their team is committed to ensuring patients receive consistent support, helping prevent gaps in care while making a meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve.
“I am excited for the ribbon-cutting of Clear Horizons Recovery Clinic. I look forward to working with this group and helping serve the people of Elmore County. We certainly have a need, as all communities do, and this is an opportunity for people in our community to rise up, look for ways that they can serve their brothers and sisters here through the leadership of this organization,” said Troy Stubbs, State Representative, House District 31.
