The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Comfort Cooki along with a large crowd to the community in a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday afternoon.
Local business representatives, ambassadors, and community members gathered to celebrate Comfort Cooki’s opening and were happy to taste test the most delicious cookies all made by Comfort Cooki owner, Hayden Mears. Samples were happily passed around by Santa himself! As for the cookies, they have a soft center with just a hint of crispy on the outside.
Hayden has partnered with his father, Michael Mears to make a dream and passion come to life and they have now staked their claim in Millbrook.
Comfort Cooki has been set up just like its name! “I love the show friends, and I really like how they had their set up, so I wanted to have something similar”, stated owner, Hayden Mears.
Michael Mears stated that Hayden has worked on the cookie recipes for a year to perfect them. Today the Comfort Cooki has 16 flavors of cookies to choose from. In addition to cookies, they are carrying Milky Moo Ice cream from a local native of Millbrook whose base is in Enterprise. Soon, the shop will carry cinnamon rolls, brownies and coffee!
If you have an idea for a cookie, the owners encourage anyone to email your ideas and just maybe you will see your idea come to the cookie shelf near you! Stop by and visit Comfort Cooki and try these delicious cookies all in the comfort of your hometown in Millbrook!
