On Nov. 12, 2025, at approximately 9:27 p.m., the Prattville Police Department responded to the 500 block of Covered Bridge Parkway in reference to a Subject Shot call. Officers arrived on scene and located a 20-year-old black male subject, who was found to have suffered gunshot wounds to his abdomen, rendering first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was soon after transported by the Prattville Fire Department to Baptist South Hospital for triage and evaluation. The identity and status of the victim will not be released at this time as the investigation is currently ongoing. More information will be released at a later time.
