MILLBROOK, Ala. — The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) is delighted to announce that Heart of Alabama Food Bank (HAFB) has been selected as the Chamber’s 2025 Nonprofit of the Year. MACC is honored to recognize and celebrate the Food Bank’s far‑reaching impact in the River Region.
“HAFB meets neighbors at their point of need with dignity and consistency,” said Brenda Dennis, President & CEO of the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce. “Their team and partners ensure that families, seniors, and children have access to nutritious food, and our business community is proud to celebrate their mission.”
HAFB will be honored at MACC’s annual Giving Luncheon on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Catfish House in Millbrook.

In the spirit of giving, MACC will collect donations on the day of the luncheon at the Catfish House to support HAFB’s work.
