Bear is a 5-year-old male Shepherd mix who has already been neutered. He is an owner turn in because his owner no longer had time for him. Bear has a long brown coat with white markings. This very handsome fellow weighs 56 pounds so he is considered to be a large dog. Bear loves to play–he is active, energetic, and would require a securely fenced yard where he could safely play. He is both leash trained and house trained. Bear would be good with older children; and other dogs. Believe it or not–Bear loves to cuddle! He is just an amazing all-around dog who needs an equally amazing family to adopt him!
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
