The City of Wetumpka is proud to welcome the Walk of Life: REMIX Tour – Pink Pop-up Party to Downtown Wetumpka on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event celebrates Alabama’s breast cancer community with a day of remembrance, unity, and celebration.
The event begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Pink Walk, starting at Fall Line Overlook in Downtown. Survivors, families, and supporters will walk together across Wetumpka’s iconic Bibb Graves Bridge, continuing along the scenic Coosa River to the Wetumpka Farmers Market. Each participant will receive a pink balloon to release in honor and remembrance of loved ones affected by breast cancer. Shuttle service will be available for those who prefer not to walk the full distance.
At 11:00 a.m., the celebration moves to the Wetumpka Farmers Market for the Pink Pop-up Party, featuring entertainment, games, treats, giveaways, and special recognition for breast cancer survivors. As part of the statewide Walk of Life REMIX Tour, this event continues the mission of supporting and honoring Alabama’s breast cancer community.
“This event is a continuation of the City’s Pink Walk tradition that has brought our community together for over 15 years,” said City Clerk Tiffany Robinson. “It’s a meaningful way to honor survivors and remember loved ones.”
