The Alabama Department of Corrections notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised that they were seeking the whereabouts of a fugitive wanted for escape.
The Alabama Department of Corrections requests public assistance in locating, fugitive, Antwone Wilson, 34, described as a black male, 5’0” in height, and weighs approximately 145 lbs. Wilson has multiple tattoos.
Wilson has been serving a prison sentence since 2013 for a robbery charge at the Donaldson Correctional Facility. On August 27, 2024, at about 8:43 a.m. Wilson escaped from custody while being transported to a medical appointment at a medical facility in Birmingham. Wilson was seen leaving the area in a black-in-color Mercedes sedan, driven by an unknown subject.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads law enforcement to the current location of Wilson and leads to his capture.
