As Season 45 winds down, I can’t help but feel grateful and proud of the incredible year we’ve shared at the Depot. Escape to Margaritaville, Unnecessary Farce, and Young Frankenstein have all been crowd favorites — filling 300 S. Main St. with laughter and energy every night!
Our “season extras” have been just as exciting — Laundry and Bourbon recently swept the state community theatre festival and will represent Alabama at regionals in Chattanooga in March! In addition, our youth workshops, Penguin Projects, Encore Players and new play reading series have all continued to thrive, growing our creative family in the best possible way.
Now, as we head into the home stretch of 2025, I’d love for you to help us finish strong, and join us for the remainder of our shows:
- Over the River and Through the Woods — a heartwarming comedy about food, faith, family and the funny ways we bridge the generation gap! Nov 6-22.
- Eggnog and Fruitcake — our first-ever Holiday Dessert Theatre, full of festive cabaret fun and sweet treats. Dec 5-7
- Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas —a sparkling show for the little ones (and the fancy grownups who love them!).
Your support and attendance make all of this possible. Come celebrate the season with us and help the Depot close the curtain with a final standing ovation to 2025 and all who made it happen!
Side note— 2026 Season Announcement is coming soon, and we will offer memberships starting Dec 1. Buckle up, it’s going to be an incredible offering of musicals and comedies along with relevant and poignant stories!
