Have you ever seen the Disney movie FROZEN or FROZEN 2? Two sisters, Anna and Elsa, came all the way from Arendelle to the Autauga Prattville Public Library to do a story time for all the children that attended. Over 100 people came to this special event on January 4th in Prattville, Alabama. Anna and Elsa are the main characters in the movie FROZEN and FROZEN 2. Elsa has magical powers, that manipulates ice and snow. Anna does not have any powers but sheis brave and courageous and would do anything for her sister.
The sisters read the book FROZEN by RH Disney. After story time, children made FROZEN crafts and took pictures with Anna and Elsa.
Anna and Elsa were dressed in their FROZEN 2 outfits because it was a little cold outside. Elsa told the children, “the cold never bothered me anyway.” During story time, both sisters interacted with their audience of young readers and enjoyed reading to them. FROZEN crafts were next, and the children were able to make snowman and beautiful snowflakes. They enjoyed coloring, receiving FROZEN stickers and FROZEN tattoos too. They also were able to take pictures with the sisters and ask questions of them. The Autauga Prattville Library had The Party Palace characters of Anna and Elsa to come and do this wonderful event for children.
Lindsey Milam is the Director for the Autauga Prattville Library. “I’m really excited about in person activities and programs that are happening this year at the library. Anna and Elsa is the first story time event of this new year and it turned out amazing. I love seeing all the many happy children and their families,” said Milam. Two teenagers from the Teen Advisory Board, which is the Teen Volunteer program the library, offered helped with the event.
