Editor’s Note: Last week we brought you the story of a Very Special Fall Festival held in Plantersville. For our original story see link at the bottom. But since there was so much interest in the initial story, we wanted to give you a follow up to a Very Special Day, indeed.

PLANTERSVILLE, ALABAMA – Anyone who sees the pictures from Charlie Mae’s Very Special Fall Festival knows it was a success. There was so much for the children to do, but Charlie liked the Corn Crib and a friendly little goat who visited her.
Everyone looked happy whether playing games, going on the hayride, or going down the bouncy slide. The lovely fairy had her hands full painting arms and faces, while other volunteers introduced children to animals that loved the extra attention and lots of petting.
Hannah, Charlie’s mom, was delighted with the turnout. The Little Witch Who Waits already has a big circle around October for Trick or Treating in Eclectic Halloween night, and a note to go to Charlie’s Festival.
