Skip is a three-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier, 61 lbs and a tripod as his right front leg had to be amputated due to injury. A wonderful family did right by him but, as he has matured, he is NOT good with cats or small dogs. He is wonderful with female dogs his size or larger. He is also good with children but best with those older than 6-7 as he might knock toddlers down. He is housetrained, loves all people and that missing front leg doesn’t slow him at all.
Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
