Prattville Senior KeLeigh Mullens has accomplished a lot in her career on the hardwood for the Lions. She was on the Lions’ Final 4 team in 2023 and 2024, and the Sweet 16 team in 2026. She was named Class 7A 3rd Team All-State three of her four years at Prattville. In her senior year, Mullens averaged 20 points per game, along with 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals. She was named 1st Team All Autauga County last year. She was also selected to participate in the Alabama – Mississippi All Star Classic that was held in Clinton, Mississippi a few weeks ago and won by Alabama. Based on an outstanding season in an outstanding career, the Elmore Autauga News has selected Mullens as the Autauga County Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year.
“It honestly feels amazing,” said Mullens. “I am super grateful and blessed to even be considered, let alone win it. All the hard work, early mornings, and late nights really paid off, and I couldn’t have done it without my teammates, coaches, and family pushing me every day!”
Mullens will continue her basketball career next season at Shelton State Community College.
“I’m definitely staying in the gym, working on my skills every single day – shooting, ball handling, conditioning, all of it. I’m also focusing on getting stronger in the weight room and just becoming more confident in my game so I can come in ready to compete right away,” said Mullens.
After graduation, Mullens will enroll at Shelton State. She has several goals in mind for her freshman season.
“My goal is to come in, learn as much as I can, and make an impact however I am needed. I want to earn my spot, help my team win, and just keep growing as a player and person throughout the season,” said Mullens.
