Prattville’s Deshawn Hall led the Lions basketball team with 19.8 points per game. His per game averages also included 11.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.5 steals, and 3.6 blocks per game. He shot 53% from the field and 39% from the three-point line. The Alabama Sports Writers Association also named Hall 2nd Team All-State for Class 7A, the largest classification in Alabama. Based on the outstanding season, the Elmore Autauga News has named Hall as the Autauga County Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year.

“It feels great to be chosen as the Autauga County Boys’ Player of the Year,” said Hall. “It just lets me know all the work is paying off. It motivates me to work even harder (for next year).”

Hall, a junior, is also a standout on the Prattville High School football team and has 32 offers from Division 1 football programs. Just earlier this week, Hall visited Clemson University on a football visit. The two-sport star still has one more year left at Prattville to leave his mark.

“A goal of mine next year is to really put the whole state on notice and show how dominant of a team Prattville can, and will be,” said Hall.

Hall hasn’t taken any basketball visits, but he has received offers from Cincinnati, Alabama State, Mississippi State, Jackson State, Southern Union, and Central Florida.
