The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office will host its first annual car show on March 28, 2026, offering a day of family-friendly activities while strengthening connections with the community.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marbury High School and is free to attend. Organizers say the show will feature dozens of vehicles, with 50 trophies to be awarded to participants.
In addition to the car showcase, attendees can enjoy food vendors and activities for children, including bouncy houses. Young attendees will also have a chance to participate by helping select their favorite vehicle.
Vehicle registration for participants is $35 and begins at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event.
Sheriff’s officials say the car show is part of an ongoing effort to build stronger relationships between deputies and the residents they serve.
“As sheriff, I feel it is important to have deputies in our communities interacting with the citizens that support them every day,” said Sheriff Mark Harrell.
The event is being organized with support from the Autauga County Sheriff’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds from the car show will go toward purchasing equipment for deputies and supporting community initiatives throughout the county.
Organizers say they hope the inaugural event will become an annual tradition that brings residents and law enforcement together in a positive, welcoming environment.
