Autauga County Sheriff’s Office
The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant funded through the Alabama Sheriff’s Association utilizing funds from the Opioid Settlement.
Through the grant funding, the Sheriff’s Office was able to equip the patrol deputies with AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators), ensuring that life-saving equipment is readily available when seconds matter most.
The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Todd Wilson of Cardiac-Solutions for supplying the deputies with this life saving equipment to better serve and protect the citizens of Autauga County.
Sheriff Mark Harrell stated, “The funding obtained through this grant and the hard work in obtaining the opioid settlement money through the Alabama Sheriff’s Association better equips our deputies in life saving situations when second’s count. AED’s have been proven in allowing our deputies to respond effectively while assisting the Autauga County Fire Firefighters and medical personnel. We are thankful for everyone involved in allowing us to obtain this critical lifesaving equipment. Our commitment remains unchanged; to protect the citizens of Autauga County, to support the dedicated law enforcement professionals who serve them, and to ensure that our deputies meet the standards of safety and justice our community deserves.”
