Arti Gras Gala returned to Wetumpka with a sold-out celebration that blended art, music, and community spirit, marking the fifth year of the popular fundraiser presented by The Kelly Fitzpatrick Center for the Arts.

Held Feb. 17 at the Wind Creek Penthouse, the evening brought together the community for a festive night featuring music, curated food and cocktails, an art pull, and a lively mask contest.

A total of 125 tickets were sold for the event, which remained intentionally limited to preserve an intimate, community-focused experience. Every attendee went home with a small piece of original art.

Admission included hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and artwork. Much of the artwork was donated by artist associate members, with additional contributions from private collectors and community supporters.

“Every dollar raised goes straight back to The Kelly to help fund our community art education programs,” said Erin Rogers, chairman of Arti Gras and a member of the organization’s board of directors. “This is an event where our community truly pulls together to support the arts.”

Over its five-year history, Arti Gras has raised $100,000, with all proceeds benefiting local art education and outreach programs.

This year’s event also marked the final Arti Gras to be held at the Wind Creek Penthouse before the space is renovated into the new Fire Restaurant. Organizers said the 2027 location will be announced later. As Arti Gras looks to the future, the event continues to reflect a community united by creativity and a shared commitment to supporting the arts.
