Millbrook City Council provided the first reading of an agreement with Central Access, Dec. 9, 2025, at their regular meeting, allowing time for public feedback and council consideration before bringing the agreement to a vote.

“This is housekeeping for us in a sense,” said Michael Gay, President of Millbrook Council. “It allows Central Access access to our city’s right-of-ways in order to expand and provide broadband services to our citizens.”

Central Access is a broadband service provider offering fiber internet connections with speeds ranging from 1,000 megabits per second and a focus on providing high-speed internet with a seamless experience for users.

A copy of the agreement, also known as Ordinance 25-11, will be available for public review at City Hall, located at 3160 Main Street.
