“The Millbrook Police Department is committed to identifying and apprehending these individuals, who continue to come into our city to commit property crimes at our retail businesses, fleeing back to their home communities with the thought process that they’ve gotten away with their ill-gotten gains. Our detectives work extremely well with the local loss prevention staffs at our retail establishments, said Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson. “We enjoy outstanding working relationships with our law enforcement partners in the River Region. We also partner with organizations, such as Crime Stoppers, who work with law enforcement daily to assist in helping to identify suspects is cases such as this one. I want to commend our detectives for their outstanding work in this case, as well as their continued drive and persistence.”

Johnson continued “If you come to Millbrook to visit our retail establishments with the intent to commit Retail Theft, do so with the knowledge that you are being watched closely. While you may be successful in leaving the business without paying for the property or being apprehended on the day in question, don’t get comfortable or think you got away unscathed. The two individuals in this case had the same thought process. They were obviously Incorrect! So were the two individuals yet to be arrested in this case. They have a jail reservation pending, we’ve just not yet confirmed the date.”
