Millbrook Police Department
Halloween festivities will be observed Friday night, Oct. 31, 2025, in the City of Millbrook. The Millbrook Police Department will have extra personnel on duty, patrolling neighborhoods to ensure the safety of our citizens participating in the time-honored tradition of trick or treating. For those participating, we request that trick or treating activities begin between 5:30 and 6:00 PM, concluding no later than 8:00 PM. Keeping in mind that some people are having to work the following day. For the safety of all concerned, we offer the following safety tips/suggestions:
Please make sure that all children have adequate adult supervision.
Participants should wear reflective clothing and have an adequate light source to ensure visibility.
Check all candy or other treats prior to allowing children to consume them.
Any packages that appear to have been opened or tampered with should be discarded unless parents are familiar with their origin and trust the source.
All vehicles that are utilized for trick or treating should be equipped with adequate lighting and be legal to operate on city streets.
For those who participate, Halloween is a fun time for children, who get to dress up as their favorite superhero, television star, or maybe even a ghost or goblin. The Millbrook Police Department will have extra personnel on duty to ensure that those who chose to participate in the time-honored tradition of trick or treating will have a safe environment to enjoy their experience. We ask that those who participate do so in a safe, cautious, and courteous manner and that our motoring public be mindful that there will be a number of children and parents traversing our residential areas on foot. Please slow down, be observant and drive defensively. We want everyone involved to have an enjoyable and safe experience. We look forward to seeing all the kids out on Friday night and wish all our citizens a safe and happy Halloween!
