Jason Hudson found guilty of 84 child sex crimes, faces 1,473 years in prison

From: Office of the District Attorney CJ Robinson

19th Judicial Circuit of Alabama

Jason Hudson has been convicted by an Autauga County Jury on a total of 84 counts including Rape
1st Degree (victim less than 12 years of age), Sodomy 1st Degree (victim less than 12 years of age),
Sexual Abuse of a Child Less than 12 Years of Age, Incest, 5 counts Production of Child Pornography
(filming sexual acts he committed on a child less than 17 years of age), and 75 counts Possession
of Child Pornography.

Hudson downloaded tagged images of child pornography on information sharing platforms and the
downloading of those images notified the NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited
Children). NCMEC then coordinated with the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office to initiate an
investigation. As a result of the investigation, 1,000’s of images of obscene matter were discovered
in his possession including videos of male and female children as young as under 2 years old
enduring rape, sodomy, sexual molestation, being tortured with sex toys, lashed with whips,
urinated on, and burned by open flames while bound with rope.

In addition to the downloaded files of child pornography, Hudson made home videos of himself
sexually abusing, sodomizing, and raping a child under the age of 12. Jason Hudson’s wife Farren Jill
Hudson previously plead guilty to Sodomy 1st Degree (victim less than 12 years of age) and was
sentenced in July to 30 years in prison by Presiding Circuit Judge Amanda Baxley. Baxley will
sentence Jason Hudson on November 18, 2025, at the Autauga County Courthouse. He faces up to a
total of 1,473 total years of prison.

“I am so thankful for real life heroes. The victim in this case was extremely brave for coming forward
and never hesitating to confront her abuser. Several law enforcement officers from the Autauga
County Sheriff’s Office and digital forensic analysts from ALEA (Alabama Law Enforcement Agency),
the Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center, and our unbelievable team at the DA’s Office all
conducted themselves with such dignity and professionalism from start to finish and I’m honored
to work with each one of these dedicated individuals. This is a case I’ll never forget and a case that
I appreciate the jury for their resolve to endure through the most disturbing videos I’ve ever seen
to reach their verdict. To anyone who has children, stop what you are doing for a few moments, give
them a hug and tell them you love them. If you don’t have children, call a parent, teacher, coach, or
someone who impacted you and tell them you love them. Choose to dwell on what is good. Fill your
time with things worthy of praise. Don’t let the darkness consume you, overcome it with light.”
