Raise your steins and don your lederhosen, Oktoberfest
Wetumpka 2025 is set to transform downtown into a Bavarian-style celebration filled with music,
food, shopping, and fun for the whole family.
The festivities kick off on Friday, September 26, at 5:00 PM with the ceremonial tapping of the
Common Bond Wulfenbrau Keg, officially opening the weekend. Festivalgoers can then enjoy lively
performances from Polkawagen and OnLive! Band on Stage 1 in front of Coosa River Craft House
(121 Spring Street) until 9:00 PM.
On Saturday, September 27, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the celebration continues with a full day
of activities, entertainment, and German-inspired fun. Highlights include:
● Live music all day featuring Polkawagen, Seconds of Silence, Mother Moonpie, Michael Jay
Hughes, Madeline Mae, Todd Fulmer, Joe Hare and Blues Reverie, Cameron Dubois and
Friends, and Richard!
● A wide selection of vendors and food trucks
● Children’s activities, including a petting zoo and putt-putt
● Grumpy Dog’s hot dog eating contest, the Stein Holding Contest hosted by the Coosa
Cleaver, and a Best Dressed Contest hosted by The Vault Variety Shop
● German Car Show and more surprises throughout the day
Oktoberfest Wetumpka is free and open to the public. The event is presented by Publix and made
possible through the generous support of Wind Creek Casino & Hotel, First Community Bank of
