The Chamber’s monthly coffee gathering brought local professionals together this week to network, learn about community organizations, and hear from Central Alabama Community College, which highlighted its broad range of educational programs designed to serve students of all ages.

The gathering offers professionals a chance to enjoy coffee, connect with peers, and learn more about local organizations in a welcoming, relaxed setting. Each event is hosted by a different business or institution, allowing them to share their mission and upcoming initiatives.

“We want to make sure that everyone knows that we serve everyone,” said Jeff Lynn, President of CACC.

CACC’s comprehensive array of programs and flexible scheduling provides a world of opportunity for state-of-the-art education and training for a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and life goals, which prepare students for a rewarding future.

“The beauty of what we do here is that our youngest students are in the ninth grade, and our oldest are in their 70s,” said Lynn. “We meet everybody where they are to educate them to send them out into the work force.”
