MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. Thursday, May 22, has claimed the life of a Pike Road man. Kent Ellis, 63, was fatally injured when the 1999 Ford F-150 pickup he was driving left the roadway and overturned. Ellis was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Alexander Road near Ashely Road, approximately 10 miles northeast of Montgomery, in Montgomery County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
