Today, we’d like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Chief Leon Smith for his incredible dedication and support of the Elmore County Family Resource Center. His commitment to our mission and his passion for strengthening families and communities inspire us all.
Chief Smith began his distinguished law enforcement career in Alabama in 2010. Serving with the Montgomery Police Department for 8½ years and the Coosada Police Department for 7 years, his leadership and integrity have been a hallmark of his career. As the youngest Police Chief in Alabama’s history, Chief Smith has demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership, problem-solving, and ethics.
Beyond his professional achievements, Chief Smith is a devoted family man and community leader. He and his wife, Nicole, have been married for over 12 years and are the proud parents of three wonderful children. He also serves as the chairman of the deacon board at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Millbrook, where his faith and commitment to service shine brightly.
Thank you, Chief Leon Smith, for being an outstanding advocate for ECFRC and for your unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in our community. We are honored to have you on our board and look forward to continuing to work together to strengthen Elmore County.
