Stanhope Elmore High School hosted their annual Powder Puff Game at Foshee-Henderson in Millbrook recently. A powder puff football game is a flag football game played by girls in a school-wide event. The boys play their part by dressing up in the cheerleader uniforms.
There were only two games played at this fun, and engaging event. The first game were freshmen and juniors playing against the sophomores. The sophomores won with a victory of 12-0.
The sophomores then played the senior girls with both teams keeping it competitive. After the third overtime, the sophomores won against the seniors with an 18-12 victory!
Throughout the event, the cheerleaders kept the stand laughing and cheering, with dance routines and incredible enthusiasm.
The Class of 2025 Seniors won the Spirit Stick for the most school spirit at the event.
Tickets are now on sale for the SEHS Homecoming Dance that will be held on October 12th during all lunch waves in the atrium.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 3- HOMECOMING PARADE
• PARADE BEGINS AT 1:20PM and will travel from the school, to Hampton Oaks, make a right on Main Street, then a right on Chapman, and end back at the high school. Traffic will be stopped while the parade rolls.

OCTOBER 12- HOMECOMING DANCE
• 6:00 – 9:30 PM SEHS ATRIUM
