Join Equality Methodist Church for our 137th Homecoming Sunday, September 15th. The church is located at 281 Alabama Highway 259, off Highway 9 in Equality. Special music begins at 10:00 a.m. featuring “We’re Still Here” Gospel Band. Worship service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with more great music and sermon by EMC pastor Rev. Wayne Cowhick of Alexander City, Alabama.
There will be a covered-dish lunch to follow in the fellowship hall. Please bring your favorite dishes, sides and desserts for everyone to enjoy! Guaranteed to receive a blessing! We encourage visitors from surrounding areas to join us for Homecoming as well as former members, pastors and guests. Everyone’s Welcome!
Equality Methodist Church has a proud history in the community and a rich heritage in the area. EMC has many mission projects ongoing such as Food for the Souls, DHR drop-off ministry, Choir specials, and the monthly Food Drop programs to name a few.
