We are acquiring the building across the street from The Picker House, 243 South Court Street.
We wish our dear friend, Lia Muir, our well wishes and support, and welcome in our new partner, Kimberly Powell!
This building will be 243 South!!
Kimberlia’s will receive an overhaul in October and will expand the kitchen and add fine wine retail sales, an extended bar, charcuteries, and a new menu as we begin construction on The Picker House across the street!
We plan to build out the upstairs completely and showcase two spaces with unique vibes.
The back of the second floor is the former personal office of Daniel Pratt himself and still houses the original walk-in safe (pictured below) from the Autuaga Banking & Trust Co.! This space will become an exclusive speakeasy, THE VAULT at 243 South and will be accessible from The Alley through an upstairs door.
The front of the second floor features a huge room with panoramic views of Downtown Prattville. This room will become THE LOFT at 243 South. This will be an event space to support local families and business needs, with full in-house catering and service!
We will continue to support our wonderful friends at Indulgence Spa!
This massive reinvention and preservation of the heart of downtown is a larger project than we expected, but we are committed.
