Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is pleased to announce a new way citizens can anonymously and conveniently submit tips to CrimeStoppers.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is in the process of reaching a milestone of 16,000 tips being received since its inception in 1997. CrimeStoppers has never identified a tipster in their 27 years of existence. Not only has CrimeStoppers become a trusted community resource, but the anonymous information received through CrimeStoppers and provided to their 121 law enforcement partners has led to over 10,840 felony charges.

In the last 20 months, CrimeStoppers has helped put 51 suspects behind bars for murder charges.

CrimeStoppers has paid out over 291,000 dollars in cash rewards and continues to offer cash rewards to anonymous tipsters when they provide information that leads to an arrest.

CrimeStoppers continues to find ways to make providing information to them more convenient while ensuring each tipster remains anonymous. From CrimeStoppers’ previous launch of the P3 Tips App which has been a tremendous success, it is now offering the all-new text-to-tip feature.

The new text-to-tip feature is easy to use. Simply text keyword 215stop to 738477 from your cell phone. Follow the link to submit your anonymous tip today.

Submitting anonymous tips has never been easier. CrimeStoppers now offers four ways citizens can submit anonymous tips from the privacy of their own homes and cell phones.
