Officials are reporting a death earlier this afternoon at the construction site of the new mega-prison in Elmore County. The site is located behind the old Draper prison near the intersection of Hwy. 143 and Marion Spillway Road. Details are limited but we are told the death occurred after a worker fell from a building under construction. The site is currently shut down and will be shut down tomorrow as the investigation continues.
