Vendors may sell only products that the Special Events Department approves.
ARTS & CRAFTS
original, hand-made items, including but not limited to, fine art or photography; prints; decorative items for home office, garden, or personal use; artisanal items
FARMERS MARKET
seasonal Alabama-grown produce, plants, flowers & locally made cottage industry products (goat’s milk soap, bath & body products, honey)
FOOD
Prepared meals, snacks, candies, cookies, cakes, etc.
Non-alcoholic beverages only
FEES:
VENDORS: NO ELECTRICITY- $75 ELECTRICITY-$100
FOOD TRUCKS: NO ELECTRICITY- $75 ELECTRICITY-$100
RULES/REQUIREMENTS:
BOOTHS: 12’ x 12’ booth space. If you require more space, you must register separately and pay for additional booths. Space is limited; only a limited number of applications will be accepted.
The vendor must provide all means of display (tents, tables, chairs, heavy-duty electrical cords, etc.). Booths must be clean, professional, and include a business sign or banner. Items for sale should be displayed in an attractive and orderly manner.
We encourage you to use our electricity. We provide 50, 30, and 20-amp service. If you require a generator, it must be a quiet generator under 60 dB for your electrical needs.
All food vendors must meet Health Department Requirements.
Set-up:
Early set-up: Friday, May 15, 2 pm – 6 pm only. Must check in with staff upon arrival.
Saturday, May 16, vendors must be set up and ready no later than 8:30 am.
Vehicles must be moved from the park’s inner perimeter as soon as they are unloaded and no later than 8:15 a.m. No moving vehicles during festival hours.
Vendors must remain open for business from 9 am to 2 pm.
Breakdown: booths/tents must not be broken down/dismantled before 2 p.m. For safety reasons, vehicles may not re-enter the festival area until crowds clear.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
· Millbrook city ordinance prohibits alcoholic beverages at this event.
· Your application and payment are a commitment to exhibit. Refunds will not be made for cancellations, no-shows, unpredictable weather, or any events beyond our control.
· The City of Millbrook does not assume responsibility for theft and/or damage of any products or property of the vendor.
· Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting all taxes, including local sales tax (state, county, and city).
· The City of Millbrook will take and use photographs or videos in print materials, social media/website, and for other promotional purposes.
· I have read the terms and conditions and agree to abide by them and other regulations established by the City of Millbrook. I understand that I will not be allowed to set up my booth if the products sold are not listed above, or if a city representative believes the items are inappropriate for the event. I will not hold the City of Millbrook, its organizers, sponsors, supervisors, or participants responsible for accidents that occur. I permit the City of Millbrook to use photographs or videos in print materials, social media, or websites for promotional purposes. I further understand that these images will not be given away, sold, or otherwise disbursed other than for promotional purposes with the City of Millbrook.
