The Prattville Civitan Club will host its annual Clergy Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 6:30 PM at The Smith Center, honoring local clergy for their faithful service and lasting impact on the Prattville community.
This event is part of Civitan International’s Clergy Appreciation tradition, observed by Civitan clubs around the world for more than 60 years. The evening will recognize 12 clergy members representing a variety of congregations and denominations throughout the area.
In addition, three clergy members who were nominated by their congregations will be recognized as 2026 Prattville Civitan Clergy Honorees in appreciation of their exemplary service, compassion, and leadership.
The evening will also feature special guest speaker Stacey Little, Prattville resident, creator of the award-winning Southern Bite food blog, Wall Street Journal best-selling author, television personality, former Prattville High School Junior Civitan President, and Alabama West-Florida Junior Civitan Governor.
“The Clergy Appreciation Dinner is one of Civitan’s most meaningful traditions,” said Johannah Munck, President of the Prattville Civitan Club. “It gives us the opportunity to thank the faith leaders who provide guidance, comfort, and service to our community every day.”
The Prattville Civitan Club is celebrating more than 70 years of service and is part of Civitan International, a global service organization dedicated to building good citizenship and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Media representatives and community members interested in learning more about Civitan’s mission are encouraged to attend or contact the club for additional information.
