On Saturday, Alabama Backs the Blue rolled out its spectacular sixth Annual Holiday Market in Wetumpka at the Wetumpka Sports Complex. This year they were located behind the tennis courts in the paved parking lot which was transformed into a festive shopping hub buzzing with lots of holiday cheer!
This year featured more than 70 incredible vendors, including delicious variety of food options. It was the perfect chance to shop locally, support community businesses, and a good start to your Christmas shopping. For a little extra magic, Santa and the Grinch stopped by the market for some unforgettable photos, laughter, and some holiday fun!
“We had a wonderful event this year, beautiful weather, more vendors than ever and praise God that the weather held off. We truly appreciate everyone’s support for our non-profit Alabama Backs the Blue. For the ones who bought a hotdog combo to support the fundraiser for Redland volunteer fire department, hosted by Republican Women of Elmore County, and for supporting all small businesses that were represented today,” said Jessica Colley, Founder of Alabama Backs the Blue.
According to their website, Alabama Backs the Blue (ABB) is a faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Elmore County Alabama. An organization dedicated to actively supporting Law Enforcement Officers and their families, starting right here in our local Alabama communities.
