From Ivy Creek Healthcare
Provider’s Summer Social Event
The Ivy Creek Healthcare staff gathered for their Provider’s Summer Social and welcomed Dr. Ben Chappell and Dr. Michael Kalter.
The event commenced at the Wind Creek Casino in Wetumpka where doctors, nurse practitioners, and other Ivy Creek staff gathered in the luxurious penthouse for an evening of summer networking and welcoming the two new providers to the team.
Dr. Kalter came to Ivy Creek from Florida and upon interview said, “I love Alabama and I’m happy to be here.” Dr. Kalter is located at Ivy Creek Family Care of Millbrook and is now accepting new patients.
Ivy Creek Healthcare has a wide range of service lines, clinics and two hospitals, which are all aimed at promoting the well-being of the local communities in the River Region. Both hospitals are staffed 24/7 with emergency trained physicians, nurses, and support staff. State-of-the-art diagnostic technologies provide medical staff with the resources they need to be efficient and effective when moments are critical.
Mike Bruce, CEO of Ivy Creek Healthcare addressed the room Thursday evening and thanked the doctors, nurses and the support staff for their tremendous work that they do in supplying quality healthcare within every avenue Ivy Creek provides, from their clinics to the hospitals. “Not only do our Physicians play an important role, but our Nurse Practitioners are also key providers, and we appreciate them as well,” stated Bruce.
Events such as these, foster relationships between the various clinics and the hospitals. Sawyer Pyle, an Administrative Marketing Liaison for Ivy Creek, said, “The goal is to not only create trust between doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners alike, but to also gives the providers a way to meet face to face instead of through a screen or a phone from day-to-day operations. “Pyle works day to day with many of the Providers of Ivy Creek and stated “This is a celebration of our Providers! It is important to show the physicians and nurse practitioners how much we care about them and everything they do.”
