The Wetumpka Police Department is investigating a death at the Alabama Little Bit of Texas nightclub Saturday morning, but no arrests have been made pending an autopsy and cause of death.
What is known is that a 50-year-old man was in an altercation outside of the bar. At some point in the altercation, the man was hit in the head. Emergency medical services were provided, but he has passed away. His body has been sent to the Department of Forensics Sciences for an autopsy and determination of cause of death.
Authorities are not releasing the man’s identity at this time pending the outcome of the investigation by the Wetumpka Police Department. There have been no arrests at this time.
