I am proud to announce my candidacy for the Alabama Republican State Executive Committee, Elmore County Place 2, in the Republican Primary on May 19, 2026.
As a lifelong resident of Elmore County, I have dedicated nearly 30 years to public service in emergency management, homeland security, emergency communications, and public safety. From serving as a patrolman with the City of Wetumpka, to Police Chief of the Town of Coosada, to becoming Elmore County’s first 9-1-1 Director, my career has always been centered on protecting and serving our communities.
I later had the honor of serving the State of Alabama as State 9-1-1 Coordinator, Director of the Alabama Department of Homeland Security, and ultimately as Director of the Alabama Emergency Management Agency. In that role, I helped lead our state through one of the worst natural disasters in Alabama history, coordinating response and recovery efforts across all 67 counties.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with local, state, and national elected officials to improve and strengthen our way of life. I stand on a foundation of fiscal conservative values built on Christian values.
I have also remained active in our community, currently serving in leadership roles with local economic development organizations, the Elmore Water and Sewer Authority, and the Elmore Volunteer Fire Department Administrative Board. I am also the Founder and Managing Partner of Blue Skies Business Group, LLC, and I am proud to live on my cattle farm in Elmore with my family. I am a member of Grandview Pines Independent Baptist Church, where I serve as Treasurer.
As a long-time member and past 1st Vice Chair of the Elmore County Republican Executive Committee, I understand the importance of strong, principled leadership within our party. I am committed to advancing conservative values, supporting our local communities, and ensuring our party remains strong and effective at every level.
