Bandit, friendly 30-pound pup seeks family!

From: Humane Society of Elmore County

Pet of the Week – Bandit

Bandit is a female Shepherd/Terrier/Poodle mix, 14-months old as of mid-Feb ’26 and only about 30 lbs.   She is a great gal and her breed mix is from DNA on her along with some other fun breeds.  She will be best in a home where someone is home more than not.  She does NOT do crating if left alone with no people in the house and will destroy the crate. Bandit likes to chase squirrels & birds; stays in a fence and knows how to walk well on a leash.  She is great with other dogs, cats & children.

Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in Bandit or any of our pets, our first step is our Adoption Application you can do here: https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html. Once approved, we will coordinate with you to set up an appointment to meet & adopt.
