The Millbrook Police Department recognized the hard work and leadership of its officers during a promotion ceremony, Sept. 23, 2025, at the Millbrook City Council meeting.
“I just want to congratulate these officers who do a tremendous job,” said Al Kelley, Mayor of Millbrook. “We are really proud of our Millbrook Police Department.”
The following officers earned promotions for their discipline, resilience, and commitment to protecting the community:
Sergeant C. VanHouten → Lieutenant
Detective Corporal Z. Sumerlin → Detective Sergeant
Corporal A. Windham → Sergeant
Corporal T. East → Sergeant
Detective J. Beilstein → Detective Corporal
Officer K. Hardy → Corporal
Officer S. Batson → Corporal
“I want to let our citizens know that you have an outstanding group of supervisors working for your police department,” said P.K. Johnson, Chief of Millbrook Police Department. “We are going to continue to provide the services you have come to expect from us.”
The Millbrook Police Department, located at 3950 Grandview Road, remains committed to maintaining public safety by enforcing laws, preventing crime, and addressing community concerns.
