There was a lot to do in Wetumpka Thursday for area residents celebrating the birthday of America, albeit one day early. Call it a pre-party party! When our country is celebrating such an amazing milestone, why keep it to just one day?

Food, music, vendors and fireworks had downtown bustling, the park filled, family picnics in quiet spots, plenty of shopping and a grand finale as fireworks lit up the sky overhead. Check out the photo gallery and share with anyone you recognize.
