WETUMPKA, Ala. – June 30, 2025 – At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, the Wetumpka Police Department responded to a report of gunfire near North Street between Holtville Road and NW Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that two individuals had sustained gunshot wounds and had already been transported to nearby medical facilities. At this time, one arrest has been made. The investigation remains active as detectives gather additional information and interview witnesses. Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Wetumpka Police Department.
