Saturday was a perfect day for the Downtown Artists Wetumpka show, as the rain held off, the temperatures were perfect, and there was more than a generous supply of art to be seen, enjoyed and purchased.
The Art Town Gallery posted to social media that 12 of Don Sawyer’s incredible pieces were sold over the weekend.
The EAN went for a stroll through downtown, stopping to talk to artists, and this writer will enjoy and treasure her purchases. Each work tells a story, as well as the talented artists who put their passion into creativity and beauty. We also visited some of the shops, including Nick of Thyme, where we stocked up on infused olive oil.
We thank the artists we were able to meet on our travels! Here are just a few that were out Saturday for the show and sharing their talent with the world.
Mary Woodall, Wanda Kirk with Kirk’s Craft Corner, Brittni Smith Artistry and Sunshine and Pixie Dust, Joe M. Weldon, Chuck and Peggy Burns with Coosa River Crafts, Linda Lee Art, Donna Richardson Artworks, Bryan Ross with Unique Glassworks of Alabama, Melody Jackson with Melody’s Art, Teresa Wamble with her Gourd Art and Walter Moore with Walter Moore Ape.
Thank you to Downtown Artists Wetumpka, all of the shops and artists who made it a great day to visit historic downtown.
