It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Lake Pharmacy after 42 years of serving our beloved community.
Mr. Robert explored every possible option to keep a pharmacy in Slapout, but despite his best efforts, it was not possible to make it work. While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, our top priority remains ensuring that you continue to receive the care you need.
To provide a seamless transition, we have entrusted your pharmacy records to Walgreens.
Starting Wednesday, February 5, 2025, all prescriptions will be available at the Walgreens location in Wetumpka. However, you may have them filled at any Walgreens Pharmacy. If you prefer another pharmacy, simply have your chosen pharmacy contact Walgreens to transfer your prescription.
We are deeply grateful for the trust and support of our incredible customers and community over the years. Serving you has been an honor, and we cherish the relationships we’ve built along the way.
