🎉 Celebrating Excellence in Service!

Last week, the Wetumpka Police Department celebrated the promotions of three exceptional officers during a special ceremony. Police Chief Ed Reeves proudly presented the promotions, joined by Assistant Police Chief Nick Betts and Mayor Jerry Willis.

Josh Barfoot was promoted to Major, Kameron Ricks was promoted to Corporal, and Jacob Wood was promoted to Corporal.

Adding a personal touch, their loved ones pinned each officer’s new badge. It was a proud moment for their families, colleagues, and the entire community!

Congratulations to Major Barfoot, Corporal Ricks, and Corporal Wood on their well-deserved achievements. We’re grateful for your dedication and leadership in keeping Wetumpka safe.
