Wetumpka, Alabama – YMCA Camp Chandler’s Annual Halloween Carnival, held on Saturday, October 26, was a resounding success, bringing together families for a night full of fun and fright! With over 500 attendees, the event showcased a vibrant community spirit and provided an exciting atmosphere for all ages.
The carnival featured a variety of thrilling activities, including carnival games, a haunted house, a pumpkin playhouse, a cakewalk, a candy walk, a costume contest, and delicious concessions. Families enjoyed these activities while also getting a first look at the newly renovated dining hall, which served as a fantastic backdrop for the festivities.
Through the generosity of our community, we raised an impressive $4,600 for our Annual Campaign, which supports Camp Chandler summer camp scholarships.
“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community,” said Camp Director Zach Johnson. “The Halloween Carnival was not only a fun-filled evening, but also an opportunity to raise essential funds for our scholarship program, ensuring that every child has the chance to experience the magic of summer camp.”
