The Ducks are coming to Mill Creek at Village Green Park in Millbroo, and each duck represents something good for our area.
The West Elmore County Lions Club is hosting their annual Duck Race September 19. Purchase your duck(s) from any Lion’s Club member, Kelley’s Accounting or visit www.westelmorelions.org
This annual event honors the memory of Shana Faulkner, wife of Art Faulkner. She was very involved with community activities and loved the duck race.
“This was a very special event to Shana Faulkner. Please consider purchasing ducks. All proceeds from the race go to local charities. Also, if you would like to be a sponsor, please private message me. Thank you for your continued support of West Elmore County Lion’s Club,” Art Faulkner said. The annual Shana Faulkner Memorial Duck Race will be Sept. 19, at 5:30 p.m. in Millbrook’s Village Green Park! The first three ducks to cross the finish line win cash prizes and the rest of the funds raised support local charities.
