Rise and grind Prattville! The Oregon based coffee shop, Dutch Bros is coming to Prattville, company confirms.

The location in Prattville will be located at 1874 E Main St. in front of the Mexico Tipico Mexican restaurant in Prattville

“Dutch Bros is stoked to be joining the Prattville community soon. We’re excited to be part of the neighborhood and serve our great drink and awesome vibes,” a Dutch Bro’s representative said in an emailed statement to EAN.

The company started as a pushcart by two brothers, Dane and Travis Boersma, who had a passion for good espresso coffee, music and connecting to their community.

They opened their first location in 2000 in Grants Pass and quickly spread throughout Oregon and the rest of the Pacific Northwest.

Not only does Dutch Bros serve signature coffee drinks such as their Kicker, an Irish cream breve, or their carmelizer, a caramel mocha, or their annihilator, a chocolate macadamia nut breve. In 2012 Dutch introduced their own line of energy drinks created by Dutch Bros, their Rebel, which quickly became an upper left U.S. staple.

While having signature drinks, Dutch Bros has also been dedicated to giving back to the community that they serve, which has now expanded out of the northwest and throughout the country. In 2006 Dutch started hosting company- wide givebacks thanking their customers through what Dutch Bros refers to as “Dutch Luv,” with the Drink One for Dane and Buck for Kids.

Drink One for Dane started in 2007 in honor of co-founder Dane Boersma who passed after a fierce battle with ALS. Now Dutch dedicates a day in May for Drink One for Dane every year to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in hopes to help end ALS.

As well has helping fund ALS research, Buck for Kids Day is a fundraiser Dutch Bros also does every year where $1 from every drink will go towards local youth organizations in that shop’s community.

Unexpected, unprompted and unbelievable is the Dutch Bros culture and creed in action. Where their website states that their mission is to make a massive difference, one cup at a time.
