The town of Pine Level yet again makes history in their historic first year as an incorporated town.

“Building this town is like building a house. When you see the foundation laid, you know the framework is coming, then eventually a roof. Each step is exciting because you see progress knowing the goal is getting closer,” Pine Level Mayor Zachary Bigley said.

The freshly incorporated town now has their official town limit signs on County Road 40 and soon to be on Highway 31.  Bigley confirmed that there are two town limit signs on County Road 40, and two more to come on Highway 31.

For Pine Level to receive town limit signs, the Autauga County engineering department worked together with the town of Pine Level to get them installed within the higher trafficked areas in and out of town.

“We are in a season where so many things are a first. We are seeing small and big wins. These are momentum builders for us,” Bigley said.

With the foundation and framework being laid and built upon every town council meeting and every day by citizens of Pine Level, each historic milestone brings Pine Level to new heights.

“These town signs are literally a tangible ‘sign’ that the Town of Pine Level is here to stay, and we matter,” Bigley said.
