Brian from GoFundMe here! I wanted to let you know about a baseball team representing the Wetumpka, AL community at the USSSA Rec World Series.
The Wetumpka 8U Gold baseball team has dedicated all their time and effort for their chance at a championship run at this year’s World Series. They will compete against the best talent across the country and have their eye on the trophy!
“Our players have worked hard, practiced hard, and fought hard to become State Champions and are now able to get this opportunity to go to the World Series,” campaign organizer Courtney Powell said.
The team started a GoFundMe to offset costs of traveling and competing. They’re seeking community support for their fundraiser so they can focus on becoming the next champions.
