PRATTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
On March 11, around 11 p.m. the Prattville Police Department responded to the 100 Block of Jones Street in Prattville in reference to a Shots Fired call. Officers located an adult B/M victim who appeared to have several gunshot wounds and was transported to Baptist South for medical care. Victim was listed as in critical, but stable condition at the time of this release.
During the investigation, Antonio Dwayne Willis Jr., 18, of Prattville was identified as the primary suspect, who was located and detained at another residence in Prattville. The motive appeared to be related to narcotics and the firearm was recovered.
Willis was placed under arrest for Attempted Murder and transported to the Autauga County Metro Jail, where he is currently being held on a bond of $250,000.
