Our featured pet this week is Little Girl.
Little Girl is a 2-year-old female Lab/Basset mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She was an owner turn in because her owner did not feel that he had enough time for her.
Little Girl (LG) is a very goodlooking little girl who has a black coat with white markings. She has a spunkiness that can’t be ignored in her actions as she prances around like a little show pony. LG only weighs 29 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. She appears to be very smart; she shows interest in everything going on at the shelter.
LG is active and playful. We believe she would enjoy having another dog in her new family. We also think she would get along just fine with children. Little Girl is so eager for a new start on life with a new family. Could it be your family she is waiting for?
Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. We do close one day each month for staff training which will be on Thursday, July 29th.
